Go to "Store › Products" in the left sidebar of your dashboard to create and manage all products for your site. This is the single source of truth for your product data: once you update a product name, image, price, or specification and save, all modules and dedicated product pages linked to that item will automatically sync.
The maximum number of products you can create depends on your plan:
| Plan | Product Limit | Quota Calculation Rules |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Up to 10 items | The 4 default "example" products are not counted toward your quota. Once you edit and save an example product, it becomes a live product and will be counted. |
| Pro | Up to 50 items | Both "Live" and "Archived" products count toward the limit. If you reach the limit, archiving products will not free up space; you must delete products without transaction history or upgrade your plan. |
| Business | Up to 500 items | Products with existing order history cannot be permanently deleted to preserve financial records and buyer rights. Please use "Archive" to unlist them instead. |
The first step in creating a product is selecting the "Product Type." The delivery process and required settings differ for each:
| Comparison | Digital Products | Physical Products |
|---|---|---|
| Suitable Content | E-books, PDF handouts, design templates, audio courses, videos, software asset packs (ZIP), or exclusive text links. | Apparel, food, merchandise, printed materials, or other items requiring shipping or in-person delivery. |
| Shipping & Temperature | No shipping setup required. No shipping fees or delivery addresses are collected at checkout. | Must select a "Storage Temperature" (Room Temp, Refrigerated, or Frozen), check at least one "Available Shipping Method", and specify "Items per box". |
| How Buyers Access | Upon successful payment, the system automatically unlocks the linked to the product. Buyers can log in to to read online, stream, or download files. | After payment, you can print shipping labels or mark orders as shipped via the page in your dashboard. |
| Product Edit Tabs | Includes Basic Info, Delivered Content, and Reviews tabs. | Includes Basic Info and tabs. |
Switching Product Types: If you change a digital product to a physical one, the "Deliverables" tab will disappear. However, the binding between the product and its deliverables, the files, and existing access rights for buyers will be preserved. To revoke access, go to the "Access" tab in the customer's details.
In the "Basic Info" tab of the product editor, you can configure the following fields:
Kanorio supports single pricing, multi-dimensional variant combinations (e.g., "Size × Color"), and a "Custom Amount" mode that lets buyers choose what to pay.
If your product has different styles, capacities, plans, or sizes, toggle on "This product has multiple variants":
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Sales Status (Live/Unlisted) | Unlisted variants will still show as buttons on the storefront but will appear as disabled (dashed line), letting buyers know the option exists but is currently unavailable. |
| Pricing & Compare-at Price | Price is the amount the buyer actually pays (set to $0 for free plans). If the Compare-at Price (optional) is higher than the actual price, it will appear as a strikethrough price on the storefront (e.g., |
| Purchase Limit per Buyer | Limits how many units of a variant a single buyer (by email) can purchase (leave blank for no limit). Features overselling protection: pending ATM/convenience store payments and checkouts in progress (within 60 minutes) temporarily reserve the quota to prevent bypassing limits via multiple pending orders. Quotas are automatically returned if the order is fully refunded. |
| Description | Optional (max 500 characters). Displays the specific inclusions of that variant below the price when selected (expands if longer than 3 lines). |
| Featured Label & Icon | Optional (max 20 characters). Add labels like "Most Popular" or "Best Value" with a small icon to highlight specific plans. |
| Variant Image (Auto-switch) | Assign a specific image from your uploaded product photos to a variant. When a buyer selects that variant on the storefront, the main product image will automatically switch to the corresponding photo. |
About SKU and Capacity Display: The product list automatically generates a read-only
SKUbased on the product slug. The remaining capacity displayed is calculated based on your "Purchase limit per customer" setting. The system does not currently use a global inventory pool; if a variant is sold out, please set that combination to "Unlisted."
Once "Allow custom amount" is enabled, buyers can select "Custom Amount" at the end of the variant list to enter their own price (you can set minimum thresholds and suggested amounts):
Digital products sell "access rights." Course chapters, handouts, and files are independent . One deliverable can be bound to multiple products, and one product can unlock multiple deliverables (e.g., a "Full Version" unlocking both course videos and a handout pack).
When the product type is "Digital Product," you can switch to the "Deliverables" tab after saving basic info:
Where to edit content? Chapters, lessons, videos, and files are managed by your AI assistant or Agent API; the backend does not provide a curriculum editor. The "Store › Deliverables" workspace allows read-only viewing of the unit tree, bound products, and student progress, as well as manual unlocking for contacts. For anti-leaking architecture, see .
You can flexibly control how social proof appears on your storefront:
In the "Sales Management" section of the "Basic Info" tab:
Show, Hide, or set a threshold (default is Show when sales reach 10, with options for 30 or 100) to avoid showing single-digit sales for new products.Custom Historical Sales + Kanorio Sales (if entering a value > 0, you must check the authenticity declaration). After enabling "Enable product reviews," you can set a "Public Rating Threshold" (default is 10 reviews) and manage all feedback in the "Read Reviews" tab:
When creating a product, if the name is in a non-English language, the system automatically uses AI to generate a semantic English URL slug (e.g., /product/hand-drip-coffee-beans, at no AI point cost).
To manually edit the product slug, custom SEO title and description, change the social sharing preview image (OG Image), or set noindex for search engines, go to "Edit Website" › "Page Management" (left sidebar) › "Store" tab, and click "Page Settings" next to the product page. See .
To ensure the integrity of historical financial reports and allow buyers to continue accessing digital files in their "Purchased Content," the system prevents deletion of products with transaction records. Please click "Archive" in the product card menu to hide it instead.
Custom amounts (pay-what-you-want) only work with products that have "No options" or "Only 1 variant dimension." If your product already has 2 or 3 dimensions (e.g., both "Size" and "Color"), the system automatically disables the custom amount toggle.
.mov is a container format often used by Apple devices (frequently using HEVC encoding) and cannot be streamed directly in many Windows and Android browsers. Please convert your video to the cross-platform compatible .mp4 (H.264) or .webm format before uploading.
Kanorio uses a more intuitive "Packing Capacity" design. You don't need to measure every item; simply enter "How many items per box" when setting up shipping methods. The system automatically calculates the number of boxes and the most cost-effective shipping rate when a buyer purchases multiple items. See Shipping Methods and Rates for details.
