Quotas are calculated on a per-website basis. If you manage two websites, each has its own quota; you cannot transfer unused space from one to the other.
The total quota is the combined capacity of all files counted for your entire website. The single file limit is the restriction for uploading one file at a time. Both must be met for a file to upload successfully.

"Up to 5 GB" is the technical maximum for a single file, not a guarantee that every plan can accommodate a 5 GB file. For example, the Free plan only offers 1 GB total for the entire site; even if the single file limit is larger, you cannot upload if you don't have enough remaining quota.
Video quality, length, compression method, and whether a PDF contains many images will all affect file size. Treat GBs as actual usable capacity, not as a fixed guarantee of "X hours of video" or "Y pages of PDF."
This shows the total amount of files counted towards your quota, not an individual list of every file. To find assets you can delete, return to where you originally added them, such as the multimedia content module, product content, or blog posts.
Go back to where files were originally used. Check for old learning materials, duplicate videos, PDFs from ended events, or product content no longer for sale. Ensure visitors and buyers no longer need them before deleting or replacing files.
After deleting multimedia content or product files, make sure to save your changes. Simply removing a URL from text doesn't mean the file is removed from media usage. If you've deleted files but your usage hasn't updated, don't re-upload the same file. Instead, contact us for assistance.
Keep the original files on your computer or cloud storage. After compressing, open them on your phone and computer to ensure text remains clear and audio plays correctly.
