Amego Electronic Invoicing is a value-added service center in Taiwan that supports the Ministry of Finance's latest MIG 4.0 specifications (applicable to stores with the "Business Location" set to Taiwan TW and "Store Currency" set to New Taiwan Dollar TWD).
Connecting your Kanorio store with Amego offers the following features:
App Key to complete verification. Before returning to Kanorio to enter your credentials, please ensure you have completed the following steps on the Amego Electronic Invoicing website:
App Key: In the System/API settings of the Amego dashboard, ensure the API integration feature is enabled (and confirm that no incorrect IP whitelisting is blocking access), then copy your unique App Key.Do Not Use Test Tax IDs for Live Stores: Amego provides a public test Tax ID (
12345678). If you used this during testing, please ensure you replace it with your company's actual 8-digit Tax ID and the officialApp Keybefore going live; otherwise, issued invoices will not be uploaded to the Ministry of Finance.
App Key provided by Amego, then click "Save":
App Key.App Key is securely stored using Google Cloud KMS envelope encryption (if you open the panel again later, the key field will be left blank to indicate the existing key remains unchanged).Amego is in the "Enabled" section at the top, then click "Save".Once enabled, the "Invoice" option will immediately appear on your live website's checkout page (supporting personal cloud carriers, mobile barcodes, citizen digital certificates, charity donation codes, and automatic population of company Tax ID, title, and address). The "Purchase Information" section on product pages will also automatically display Electronic invoice issued automatically after payment.
After a customer completes payment, the system will automatically issue an invoice via Amego within 5 minutes. If an order is refunded, the system will automatically perform a cancellation or issue an allowance via Amego according to Taiwan's bimonthly tax reporting rules (see for full details).
Open an order in the "Orders" dashboard and switch to the "Invoices" tab to perform the following actions:
| Document Type | Actions available in the Kanorio order "Invoice" tab |
|---|---|
| Company Tax ID Invoice (B2B) | • Click "Copy Invoice Info" to copy the invoice number, random code, date, and amount.;• Click "Download File" to directly obtain the PDF proof generated by Guangmao (the download link is valid for 10 minutes after generation; supports searching invoices issued within the last 180 days; unlimited downloads). |
| Personal Cloud Carrier / Donation Invoice (B2C) | • Click "Copy Invoice Info" or go to "Verify on Ministry of Finance Platform"。;• Note: According to Taiwan tax law, the proof copy of a personal carrier invoice serves as the prize-winning certificate. Guangmao prohibits PDF downloads "before winning a prize," so the download button will not appear on the screen. |
| Allowance Note (Partial or Cross-period Full Refund) | • Click "Copy Allowance Info" to copy the allowance note number and the referenced original invoice number.;• Click "Download File" to directly download the Allowance Note PDF proof generated by Guangmao (Guangmao uses the buyer-consent mode AllowanceType: 2; you can provide the downloaded PDF to the buyer for retention or signature). |
How to resend an invoice notification to a customer? Amego automatically sends a notification email to the customer when an invoice is successfully issued (Note: Amego's test environment does not send emails). Since Amego does not currently provide an API interface for resending notifications, if a customer accidentally deleted their email, please log in to the Amego Electronic Invoicing dashboard, locate the invoice, and click "Resend Invoice Notification".
If you see an issuance or cancellation failure prompt in the order's invoice tab, refer to the common Amego troubleshooting guide below:
| Common Issues | Guangmao-side Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
"Invalid Certificate or Signature" when saving or issuing (Code 2 / 16 / 4) | The 8-digit Tax ID does not match the App Key, or extra spaces were copied when copying the App Key. | Go to "Website Settings › Invoices", open the Guangmao certificate panel, re-paste the correct Tax ID and App Key, and save to test. |
"Account settings require attention" (Code 8 / 13 / 14 / 21) | API integration is not enabled in the Guangmao backend (8), the account is disabled (13), an incorrect IP whitelist restriction is set in the Guangmao backend (14), or the current invoice sequence quota is exhausted (21). | Log in to the Guangmao backend to check the remaining sequence quota, confirm that API integration is enabled and not locked to other IPs, and contact Kanorio support to resend after completion. |
Kanorio product prices are always tax-inclusive. When issuing a B2B invoice, the system sends tax-inclusive details based on Amego's official "Tax ID (Tax-Inclusive)" formula. The system precisely calculates the 5% business tax and the pre-tax sales amount using Total Tax-Inclusive Amount − Round(Total Tax-Inclusive Amount ÷ 1.05), preventing rejection errors caused by 1-dollar rounding differences when summing multiple items.
Yes. Amego uses the same connection endpoint for both test and production environments, distinguished only by the "Tax ID + App Key" you enter. Before going live, please ensure you return to "Website Settings › Invoices" to replace the test credentials with your company's official Tax ID and App Key.
"Cannot void" during refund (Code 2003 / 2004) | The 15-day voiding period for the subsequent bimonthly period has passed (2003), or an allowance note has already been issued for this invoice. | Kanorio automatically switches to an "Allowance Note" based on the bimonthly period during scheduling; if a conflict occurs due to manual operations in the Guangmao backend, please complete the subsequent allowance directly in the Guangmao backend. |
