When potential customers search for your brand or business name on Google, the first result is usually your homepage. Therefore, managing your homepage's search appearance and site-wide rules is the first step in setting up your website's SEO.
In the dashboard, click "SEO › Settings". The page is divided into four sections: Homepage appearance in search and social, Site-wide search settings, Connect to Google Search Engine, and Advanced.
Once saved, all settings go live on your public website immediately (no need to return to the editor and republish). However, they function in three ways depending on the section:
(For steps on the third card, "Connect to Google Search Engine", please refer to .)
This card displays two live previews: the left shows your homepage title and description in Google search results, and the right shows the 1200 × 630 preview image for LINE and Facebook (if you haven't uploaded a custom share image, the system will automatically generate one using your homepage title and the site's light brand color).
Bloom Florals | Custom Flower Bouquets & Wedding Design), allowing people searching for your brand or services to recognize you instantly. This card manages three general rules applied to your entire website. Click the "Save" bar at the bottom of the page after making changes:
When a standard page or blog post doesn't have a manually filled "Search result title", the system uses this template to generate one, ensuring search engines never encounter a blank title:
{page} | {site} (where {page} is the page name and {site} is the website name). As you type in the field, the description above will use "About Us" as an example, showing Preview: About Us | Your Website Name.{page} - {site} or {page}|{site}.These keywords represent your entire brand, core service categories, and primary business regions (up to 10 keywords, 2 to 30 characters each; press Enter to add):
Choose the current indexing status of your site:
/robots.txt to disallow crawling (Disallow: /).X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow header to all public pages (to prevent Google from listing your site if external sites link to you)./llms.txt and /llms-full.txt.Note: When your site is officially live, ensure this option is switched back to "Allow search engines to index the entire site". If left in the blocked state, no search engines will display your pages, and your "SEO › Health Check" score will show as 0.
Located at the bottom of the page, the "Advanced" section exposes underlying settings optimized by the system for users with specific technical needs. For 99% of websites, keeping the default "Auto-generated" and "Auto-detected" settings is the safest and most complete approach.
https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml URL, with "Copy" and "Open in browser" icons. The code block below expands to show the "Sitemap preview (N URLs total)" and current XML content.robots.txt, llms.txt, llms-full.txt)These three files are presented as expandable cards with "Auto-generated" or "Custom" badges. Click any card to view the current content or select "Use custom" (the system will pre-fill current content for fine-tuning):
Robots.txt: The access guide for search engine crawlers. If you only want to block specific AI crawlers (like GPTBot), you don't need to change robots.txt to custom. Simply click the "AI bot blocking rules" link within the card to select them; the system will automatically write to robots.txt and enforce the block at the edge network. See .llms.txt and llms-full.txt: Website guides and full-text Markdown provided for AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. Keep as "Auto-generated" to update automatically with site publishing.Structured data acts like a "nutrition label" for your web code. It is sent when the server first responds to a page, along with the title, content, and breadcrumbs (see ), allowing Google and AI to understand your brand identity, business location, and FAQs without guessing:
Restaurant, Store, BeautySalon, MedicalClinic, ProfessionalService, EducationalOrganization, LodgingBusiness, SportsActivityLocation, Organization, or generic type based on site text). If the automatic detection is incorrect, you can manually specify it in the dropdown (changes will update the graph upon the next site publish).Yes. This setting only requests that Google, Bing, and AI crawlers do not include your site in search results. Visitors who already have the URL or scan a QR code can still open and browse the site normally. If you want to prevent even general visitors from accessing the site, please use the "Unpublish site" option in Unpublishing and deleting your site.
Because every page has different text in Google search results, Kanorio centralizes all search-related settings in the "SEO" center. To change the homepage title and description, click "Edit Homepage SEO" on the first card in "SEO › Settings". To change other subpages, posts, or products, go to "SEO › Pages".
Not at all. Kanorio automatically generates compliant JSON-LD and robots.txt based on your site content, FAQ modules, products, and business address. Unless your technical consultant has specific custom requirements, keeping the default "Auto-generated" settings is the best way to avoid syntax errors or update issues.
