Bulk email refers to emails you write yourself and send to a list of recipients, such as new product launches, holiday promotions, or event invitations. Most countries have regulations governing these emails, and the core requirements are nearly identical: obtain prior consent, identify yourself as the sender, and provide an easy way to unsubscribe at any time.
Transactional emails like order confirmations, shipping updates, and form receipts are necessary for the user's purchase or request; these do not require prior consent and are outside the scope of this guide.
This is not legal advice: This guide summarizes key regulations to help you make informed decisions. Regulations change, so please check local authority announcements and consult with a local attorney if necessary. Last reviewed: September 2026.

"Promptly" means no specific timeframe is defined by law. Kanorio's unsubscribe process is immediate, faster than any regional deadline.
<ADV> in the subject. You must add these manually.Kanorio's bulk emails are sent via professional providers using your verified domain with SPF and DKIM. These networks are shared; if a site sends to non-consenting users or receives high spam complaints, it lowers domain reputation and impacts deliverability for others. We monitor bounce and spam rates; if they are too high, we warn, throttle, and eventually pause bulk sending. See Bulk email.
Taiwan has no specific anti-spam law, but the Personal Data Protection Act requires disclosure of purpose at collection and stopping upon request. If your list includes overseas contacts, you must follow their local laws, so we recommend using the opt-in approach for everyone.
Most regions allow emails related to past purchases, provided you offer an opt-out at checkout and an unsubscribe link in every email. Kanorio's checkout page shows a subscription checkbox based on the region.
It depends on whether they consented. In the EU, Japan, and South Korea, exchanging business cards is not consent for marketing emails. You must ensure everyone has consented before importing.
No. Unsubscribing, bouncing, or marking as spam is final. Future purchases or form submissions will not re-subscribe them to bulk emails, respecting their preference.
