As your website grows with more services, case studies, and campaign pages, it becomes difficult to keep track of your site's hierarchy—which pages exist, how they are nested, and which modules are used on each page—by looking at a simple text list.
Go to "SEO › Structure" in your dashboard (or click "View Site Structure" in the top right of the "Pages" panel in the editor). You will see your entire site architecture presented as a Visual Sitemap. This bird's-eye view allows you to review your information architecture, add subpages, adjust parent-child relationships, or jump directly into editing any page via the "⋯" menu.
The structure map is divided into two sections based on page type, clearly distinguishing between "Pages you create" and "System-managed pages":
The top section lists your homepage and all standard pages. Each card represents a top-level page and contains three key pieces of information:
Hero, Columns, FAQ), along with site-wide Header and Footer. This lets you verify the page structure without entering the editor./services/haircut), they are displayed as a tree structure below the card. If there are more than 8 subpages, they will be collapsed automatically; click "Show all" to expand. The bottom section lists the two groups of dynamic pages generated and maintained by the system:
/shop), the number of active products, and the number of categories. Click "Go to Product Management" to enter "Store › Products"./blog), the number of published posts, and the number of categories and tags. Click "Go to Blog Management" to enter "Blog".Each card and subpage row indicates its current real-time status:
| Status or Label | Meaning | Visible on live site? |
|---|---|---|
| Published (Green dot) | The page is live, and the current editor draft matches the public version. | Visible |
| Unpublished changes (Orange dot) | The page is live, but you have modified modules in the editor and haven't clicked "Publish" in the top right. | Visible (old version; updates after publishing) |
| Draft (Grey dot) | A newly created page that has never been published. | Not visible (returns 404) |
| Hidden (Grey dot) | A page you have toggled to hidden status. | Not visible (returns 404) |
| Directory (Badge + folder icon) | A parent path with no page content, used to organize subpage URLs (e.g., if you only create /case/taipei, the system automatically generates /case). | The directory itself is not public, but public subpages underneath can be browsed normally |
Planning a clear URL hierarchy for related pages (e.g., creating /services/haircut and /services/color/ombre under /services) helps both visitors and search engines understand the relationships between your pages.
Standard pages support up to 3 levels of depth (e.g., /level-1/level-2/level-3. Each URL segment is limited to 60 characters, and the full path is limited to 160 characters):
On many websites, you might want to have /case/taipei and /case/tokyo as case study pages without having a /case overview page.
/case/taipei normally; only if they try to access the empty /case page will they see a 404 error./case to turn it into an overview page, simply open the directory page in the "Pages" list, add your modules, and click "Turn into page" (the eye icon) before publishing. When you change the URL of a page that has previously been published, or move it (along with its subpages) to a new parent via "Move to...":
Once your page hierarchy is set up, Kanorio automatically converts it into two SEO and browsing experience advantages:
BreadcrumbList Structured DataWhen a page is a level 2 or level 3 subpage (or a store product/category page, or a blog post/category page):
Home > Services > Haircut > Ombre) above the first content module. Text and link colors adapt to the block's background color and light/dark mode. On mobile devices, if there are more than 3 items, the middle levels collapse into a clickable … to keep the interface clean./about) do not display breadcrumbs./case is a hidden directory page, both the breadcrumbs and the background Google BreadcrumbList structured data will omit that layer, ensuring no dead links that lead to 404s.BreadcrumbList structured data.)/summer-promo), but you want the breadcrumbs to show Home > Services > Summer Promo while browsing, open the page's SEO panel. In the "Advanced" section at the bottom, select "Services" under "Breadcrumb parent". This changes only the breadcrumbs and structured data, leaving the actual page URL unchanged./sitemap.xml)When generating /sitemap.xml, the system automatically orders pages according to the site tree and assigns search priority based on depth (Homepage: 1.0, Level 1: 0.9, Level 2: 0.8, Level 3: 0.7), helping search engines understand your site's structure more effectively.
It will not change automatically. To give you full control over which pages appear in your main menu versus which are used as landing pages, page hierarchy and header navigation are managed separately. Once you have created subpages for a page, simply go to the editor, click on the Header, open the navigation item pointing to the parent page, and click the "Add N subpages as a dropdown" button to turn the public subpages into a dropdown menu in one click! See Header and Footer for details.
A confirmation window will appear, allowing you to choose how to handle them, so you won't delete them by mistake:
The homepage is fixed as the site root (/). The store and blog are managed by dedicated system routing, and the 6 legal pages and link-in-bio tools use standard fixed paths, so these pages are locked to the first level. Similarly, if you want to set a standard page as the homepage, please move its subpages out first and ensure it is at the first level.
