Kanorio notifies you in two ways: via the "Inbox" in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard and through emails sent to your login address. This guide explains what you will receive in each, which notifications can be disabled, and what your team members will see.
This article covers notifications sent to you and your team. For emails sent to your customers and visitors, please see Automations and Campaigns.
Once you log in, you will find an "Inbox" button in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard, which contains two tabs:
You can filter the "Notifications" tab using the options at the top:
Click "Mark all as read" to clear your unread list. When you have unread notifications, a number will appear on the button, and the unread count will also be displayed in your browser tab title.
For urgent matters, a "You have an important notification" alert will pop up in your dashboard with a sound notification. This includes events like new orders, depleted sending limits, invalid sending domains, paused integrations, payment failures, domain renewal failures or expirations, and website ownership transfers. When support replies to you, a "Support has replied" alert will appear.
The Inbox is only visible in the dashboard; it does not appear on your public website, login pages, or preview screens.
Go to Account Settings, click the "Preferences" card, and find "Email Notifications" in the panel. The card will show which categories are currently disabled. Make sure to click "Save" after making changes for them to take effect.
| Switch | Includes |
|---|---|
| "Customers & Orders" | New orders, shipping updates, form submissions, sending limit alerts, and notifications regarding sending domain or Webhook integration issues |
| "Website Activity" | Website launch completion, unpublishing, 60-day inactivity or unpublished reminders, and backup availability |
| "Tips & Tutorials" | Welcome emails, SEO ranking tips, domain and Search Console setup hints, traffic milestones, and monthly traffic reports |
| "New Features & Exclusive Offers" | News about new Kanorio features or limited-time offers; disabled by default, you must enable this to receive them |
Be careful when disabling "Customers & Orders": once turned off, you will no longer receive emails for new orders, form submissions, or depleted limits. These notifications will still appear in your Inbox.
The following emails are directly related to your account, billing, or website security and will always be sent:
For more on security notifications, see Account Security.
These switches only control emails. If you disable a category, the corresponding internal notifications will still appear in your Inbox as usual.
Some emails sent by Kanorio, such as tutorials, monthly reports, and promotional messages, include an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will open a confirmation page; click "Confirm Unsubscribe" to take effect immediately.
Once unsubscribed, the corresponding switch in your Preferences will be disabled:
To resume, return to "Email Notifications," enable the category, and click "Save." If you only enable one category, the other will remain disabled.
When events occur on your website, such as a new order or a form submission, Kanorio notifies your team as follows:
Default Inbox notifications by role:
| Notification | Owner | Admin | Member | Viewer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| New orders, shipping status | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | - |
| Form submissions, sending limits, domain issues | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | - |
| Traffic milestones | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Payment failure, domain expiration | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Backup availability | ✓ | ✓ | - | - |
| Webhook integration paused | ✓ | ✓ | - | - |
Viewers do not receive order or form notifications but will receive payment and domain alerts to help the team stay informed. Shipping status notifications only appear in the Inbox for delivery exceptions by default; other shipping status updates and team emails are disabled by default and can be enabled in Automations.
When changing a member's role, old notifications that the new role cannot access will be deleted. When a member is removed from a website, all notifications for that site are deleted. These will not be restored even if access is granted again later.
Other things to know:
If you receive a login notification or verification code for a device you do not recognize, please follow the steps in Security Troubleshooting.
Team emails are only sent to the website owner. Other members will receive new order notifications in the "Inbox" in the bottom-right of the dashboard, provided their role is Admin or Member; Viewers do not receive these.
Please check your spam folder, then go to "Account Settings → Preferences → Email Notifications" to ensure "Customers & Orders" is enabled. You can also check Automations to ensure team emails for that event are turned on.
Not at this time. Inbox notifications will always appear; you can use "Mark all as read" to clear them at once.
Go to "Account Settings → Preferences → Email Notifications," enable the disabled category, and click "Save." Future emails will be sent as usual.
No. These emails are critical to preventing website or domain deactivation, so they are always sent, and important notifications will also appear in your Inbox.
Yes. Support replies are always sent via email, a "Support has replied" alert will pop up in your dashboard, and the conversation will be available in the "Support" tab of your Inbox.
