How to Subscribe to a Paid Plan
When your website needs a custom domain (your own website address, like yourbrand.com), multiple public pages, more AI (Artificial Intelligence) feature credits, or lower platform fees for your store, you can upgrade from the free plan to Kanorio Pro or Kanorio Business. Subscribing does not recreate your website; your existing content, settings, and URL will remain after payment is complete.
This page guides you through your first subscription. If you're already a paid user and want to change your plan or switch between monthly/annual billing, please read Upgrading, Downgrading, and Changing Billing Cycles.
Confirm Two Things Before Subscribing
You're Managing the Correct Website
Kanorio plans are managed on a per-website basis. If you have multiple websites under the same account, first select the website you want to subscribe to from the website switcher in your dashboard, then go to Billing. Plan benefits are not automatically transferred if you subscribe for a different website.
You Know Which Plan You Need
- Kanorio Pro: Ideal for websites that need a custom domain, multiple public pages, a blog, or advanced marketing tools.
- Kanorio Business: Suitable for websites requiring more custom domains, additional AI feature credits, or aiming to reduce Kanorio's platform fees to 0%.
For a full feature comparison, read Choosing the Right Plan. Pricing may vary by currency and available options; please refer to the amounts displayed in your dashboard's Billing section and at checkout.
How to Subscribe
1. Go to Billing in Your Dashboard
After logging into Kanorio, select the website you wish to subscribe for, then open Billing. Free plan websites will show available plan and cycle options.
2. Choose Your Plan and Billing Cycle
Select Kanorio Pro or Kanorio Business, then choose your payment frequency:
- Pay Monthly: Renews automatically each month, offering maximum flexibility.
- Pay Annually: Pay for a full year upfront. When available, the annual fee is typically equivalent to 10 months of the monthly rate.
The system will display the exact amount and currency before you confirm. Do not rely on prices from other users or old screenshots, as displayed content may differ.
3. Enter a Referral Code If Applicable
A referral code is a code shared by a referrer. If this is your first time subscribing to a paid plan and you choose to pay monthly, you can enter an eligible referral code during checkout for a discount.
Annual payments already include a long-term payment discount, so referral codes do not stack for the initial purchase discount; the referral relationship will still be maintained. To learn more about referral codes, referrer commissions, and point redemptions, read the Refer a Friend Program.
4. Complete Payment via Stripe Checkout
Upon confirmation, you will be redirected to Stripe Checkout (a secure payment page provided by Stripe). Only enter your card details and other payment information on a properly displayed Stripe payment page.
If you have concerns about the payment page, suspicious messages, or card security, please read Payment Security first. Kanorio support will never ask you to provide your full card number, CVC (the 3-digit security code on the back of your card), or one-time verification codes via messages.
5. Return to Kanorio to Confirm Your Plan is Active
After payment is complete, you'll be returned to Kanorio. Your website's plan and available features are usually updated quickly; you can refresh your Billing page or check a feature restricted by the plan.
If payment has been processed but your plan hasn't updated after some time, please keep your payment date, amount, and website name handy, and follow the steps in Billing, Invoices, and Payment Methods to confirm or contact support. Do not provide your full card number or verification codes.
How Your Billing Currency is Determined
During your first subscription, the currency displayed will be based on your location and available pricing. Kanorio currently supports:
| Currency | Common Regions |
|---|---|
| TWD (New Taiwan Dollar) | Taiwan |
| HKD (Hong Kong Dollar) | Hong Kong |
| JPY (Japanese Yen) | Japan |
| KRW (South Korean Won) | South Korea |
| SGD (Singapore Dollar) | Singapore |
| EUR (Euro) | Eurozone |
| GBP (British Pound) | United Kingdom |
| USD (United States Dollar) | Other Regions |
Your billing currency will remain consistent after your first payment. Even if you travel, move to a different region, or use a VPN (a tool that makes your internet connection appear to be from another location), your existing subscription will not automatically switch to a different currency.
