Kanorio

Create an Account and Log In

About 6 min

When you start using Kanorio, you don't need to set up or remember a password. You can choose to log in with your Google account or enter your email to receive a verification code. After your first successful login, your Kanorio account will be automatically created.

This method is called Passwordless Login. Simply put, the system uses your existing Google account or a one-time verification code sent to your email each time to confirm that 'the person logging in is indeed you,' eliminating the need to remember an extra password.

Choose and Use a Login Method

Log in with a Google Account

If you're already logged into your Google account in your regular browser, this is usually the fastest method. It's ideal if you're logged into Google on your computer or phone, want to avoid typing your email again, and are not opening Kanorio from within a social media app.

  1. Go to the Kanorio login page.
  2. Click "Log in with Google."
  3. Select your Google account in the Google window.
  4. After authorizing the necessary permissions, you'll be directed to Kanorio.

If this is your first time logging in, Kanorio will create an account based on the email address of your Google account. If an account with that email already exists, you'll be logged into the existing account without creating a duplicate.

Log in with an Email Verification Code

If you prefer not to or cannot use a Google account, are opening Kanorio from within a social media app, or want to quickly verify on different devices, choose the email verification code option. Kanorio will send a login email containing a 6-digit verification code. Some login emails may also include a direct login link.

  1. Enter the email address you want to use on the login page.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the human verification (a security check to ensure you're not an automated bot).
  3. Check the inbox of that email for the login email from Kanorio.
  4. Copy the 6-digit verification code from the email and enter it back on the login page.
  5. Once verified, you'll be logged in and taken to your dashboard.

The verification code is only valid for a short period. If the screen shows it has expired, please return to the login page to request a new login email and use the latest verification code.

Why Might Google Login Fail When Opening from a Social Media App?

Social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, and Threads use their own in-app browsers. Essentially, when you tap a link, the app opens a simplified mini-browser to display the webpage, rather than using your phone's default browser like Safari or Chrome.

These in-app browsers may restrict the login status or cookies required for Google login, sometimes preventing it from completing successfully. If this happens, try one of the following methods:

  1. Enter your email on the login page and use the verification code login.
  2. Tap "Open in browser" in the app's menu to switch to Safari, Chrome, or another system browser.

Will Google Login and Email Login Create Two Accounts?

Generally, no. If you log in using the same email address via both Google and email verification code, Kanorio will treat them as a single account. This means your website, subscriptions, and other data won't be lost when you switch login methods.

After logging in, you can go to "Settings → Linked Accounts" to view and manage your available login methods.

Add an Extra Security Layer to Your Account

If you want an additional layer of confirmation when logging in, you can enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Once enabled, even if someone obtains your login credentials, they'll still need a short code generated by an authenticator app to log in.

Two-factor authentication is recommended for managing official websites, stores, or team accounts. Be sure to securely store the backup codes provided by the system to avoid being locked out if you switch phones.

Log in to your dashboard and enable two-factor authentication in the "Security" section of "Account Settings".

Where Do I Go After Logging In?

Upon successful login, you'll be taken to the dashboard. If you don't have a website yet, the dashboard provides an entry point to create one. If you already have a website, you can access the editor, analytics, store, or settings from the dashboard.

Login FAQ

First, check your spam folder, promotions tab, or any email filtering rules for your inbox. Also, confirm that the email address you entered is spelled correctly. If you still haven't received it, please request it again and avoid using codes from older emails.

The verification code is only valid for a short time. Please return to the login page, re-enter your email, and use the most recently sent verification code. Do not mix codes from multiple login emails.

Kanorio does not use traditional password logins, so there's no need to reset your password. You can log in with Google or enter your email to receive a new verification code.

In-app browsers within social media apps may restrict Google login functionality. Please switch to logging in with an email verification code, or choose to open Kanorio using a standard browser like Safari or Chrome.

Yes. As long as both methods use the same email address, Kanorio will link them to the same account. This ensures your website and data remain unified.

It's not mandatory, but it's highly recommended for managing official websites, stores, or accounts with team members. It adds an extra layer of security during login.
