Page Performance & Conversions

Overview

The "Pages & Conversions" tab helps you answer two questions: Which content brings in the most visitors? Once they arrive, do they take the next step you want them to?

After opening the report from "Analytics → Pages & Conversions", use the traffic trends to identify pages worth exploring further.

Conversions here refer to observable actions, such as clicks on custom buttons or branded links. This does not equate to sales or revenue; if you need full conversion attribution from ad platforms or stores, set up third-party tracking separately or check your payment provider's reports.

Start with the Page List

Each row represents a regular page or blog post. We recommend reading them in the following order:

  • Views: How many times this page was viewed in total.
  • Visitors: How many unique visitors viewed it.
  • Entrances: How many sessions started on this page, indicating it's often the first impression.
  • Bounce Rate: The percentage of sessions that entered on this page and left without viewing any other page.
  • Avg. Stay: The average duration visitors actively stayed and interacted, not just the total time the page was open.
  • Buttons: The number of times custom buttons on this page were clicked.

Don't just chase the pages with the highest view counts. A page with average views but more button clicks might be closer to your actual goals.

Understanding Bounce Rate

Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who enter on a page and leave without viewing any other pages. A high bounce rate doesn't necessarily mean the content failed:

  • A contact page might lead visitors to quickly find the phone number and leave.
  • A single-page event might have already conveyed all the key information.
  • A service page with a high bounce rate and no button clicks warrants priority investigation.

When an entry page has a high bounce rate, first check if the initial screen answers "What do you offer?" "Who is it for?" and "What's the next step?"

View Page Details

Clicking on a page allows you to further examine entrances, exits, site navigation, as well as scroll depth funnels and page diagnostics.

Scroll depth shows how many people reached 25%, 50%, 75%, and the bottom of the page. This is especially useful for long pages; if many people only reach the first 25%, move your most important value proposition, testimonials, or call-to-action buttons higher up.

The chart above summarizes two types of tracked interactions:

  • Custom Buttons: Action buttons you created in the editor under "Settings → Content", such as "Book Now" or "Contact Us."
  • Branded Links: Clicks on social media, booking, delivery, or other branded links.

Ensure each page has one clear primary call to action. If you include too many equally important buttons, visitors might not know which one to click first.

Visitor Flow Paths

Flow paths display common page sequences, such as "Homepage → Services → Contact." They help you determine if your website naturally guides visitors toward the next step.

Path data combines site navigation clicks and page view order within the same session, so it represents behavioral trends and doesn't guarantee every path reflects a user actually clicking a specific link.

About Form Submission Fields

The report data model retains form submission fields, but Kanorio currently focuses on tracking custom buttons, branded links, and site navigation. If you embed Google Forms, Typeform, SurveyCake, or other forms, please refer to the submission reports provided by the original form service and do not treat Kanorio's blank form fields as zero responses.

Frequently Asked Questions

There's no universal standard for all websites. First, compare similar types of pages (e.g., compare service pages to other service pages, event pages to other event pages), and then consider average stay time and button clicks.

Possible reasons include the button not being prominent enough, the text not clearly stating the outcome, its placement being too far down the page, or visitors not being ready to take action. Use the mobile preview in the editor to ensure the button is easily visible and clickable.

If visitors only view a single page or haven't accumulated enough cross-page views, there won't be any paths to display. Please accumulate more public website traffic first.
