Kanorio is an AI-assisted website building platform used to create professional brand and business websites. To keep the platform safe and trustworthy for everyone, we set out below the types of content and conduct that are not allowed. These Content Guidelines supplement Sections 4 (Acceptable Use) and 5 (Prohibited Content) of our Terms of Service; if there is any conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. We do not pre-approve or actively monitor every site, but when we become aware of content that violates these Guidelines, applicable law, or our Terms of Service, we may act on it, with or without prior notice. We interpret and enforce these Guidelines at our sole discretion.
1. Scope and Your Responsibility
You are responsible for all content you create, upload, publish, host, or transmit through the Services, including content added on your behalf by others, and for all site identity and branding settings you choose or provide through the Services. Content published on a Kanorio subdomain (for example, your-site.kanorio.com) or on a custom domain served through Kanorio, and the Site Configuration used for that site, are subject to these Guidelines.
For purposes of these Guidelines, Site Configuration includes the Kanorio subdomain label assigned to a site, the presentation of a custom domain through Kanorio, site names, page titles and metadata, logos, favicons, brand marks, social profile links, and other settings that identify or represent a site or its operator.
Like any website, a site built with Kanorio must comply with all applicable international and national laws. Where the law requires you to restrict access to certain content, it is your responsibility to implement those restrictions or to refrain from publishing such content.
2. Intellectual Property
Do not upload, publish, or distribute content that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets. Only use text, images, fonts, audio, video, and other materials that you own or are licensed to use. For names, logos, and other identity settings used to represent a site, see Site Identity.
We respond to valid copyright notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and may remove infringing material and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers, as described in our Terms of Service.
3. Site Identity: Subdomains, Domains, and Branding
You must not use any Site Configuration, including a Kanorio subdomain label, custom-domain presentation, site name, logo, favicon, or brand mark, to impersonate, misrepresent, or create a false association with another person, organization, brand, product, or service.
You must not use another party's name, trademark, trade name, logo, or other distinctive identifier, or a confusingly similar variation, as part of Site Configuration without authorization where the use is likely to mislead people about affiliation, sponsorship, ownership, or official status.
- Claim or imply that a site is an official website, representative, partner, affiliate, or authorized service of Kanorio, a government body, a financial institution, a platform, a brand, or another organization when it is not.
- Mislead people about who operates, owns, sponsors, or endorses a site.
- Create a deceptive login, customer-support, payment, account-recovery, or security-related experience.
- Use a celebrity's, public figure's, or another person's identity without authorization.
- Register or use a hostname or identity that is likely to cause confusion with another party's name, trademark, service, or official web presence.
This section does not prohibit lawful commentary, news reporting, criticism, comparison, resale, or other uses that do not falsely imply affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or official status. You are responsible for obtaining any permission required for your use.
The use of Site Configuration for phishing, fraud, or other deceptive schemes is also prohibited under Spam, Phishing, and Fraud below.
4. Adult and Sexually Explicit Content
Sexually explicit and pornographic content is prohibited on Kanorio. This includes, but is not limited to, websites primarily dedicated to pornography, adult entertainment, escort services, sexually oriented dating or webcam services, or the sale of sexually explicit goods or services.
We may, at our sole discretion, permit content that is primarily intended for bona fide educational, medical, scientific, or artistic purposes. Any such exception is granted narrowly and does not create a right to publish adult content. Even where permitted, you remain responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including age-verification and record-keeping requirements.
Kanorio's payment features may not be used to process transactions for adult goods, sexually explicit content, or sexually oriented services, regardless of whether the underlying content is lawful.
5. Child Safety
We have zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. This includes any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or exploitation, whether real, fictional, simulated, or synthetic, and any content that sexualizes minors.
As soon as we become aware of such content, we will remove it, terminate the associated accounts, and report it to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, and cooperate with any resulting investigation.
6. Spam, Phishing, and Fraud
Do not use the Services in connection with spam, unsolicited messaging, deceptive marketing, or similar schemes such as chain letters, pyramid or Ponzi schemes.
Do not create phishing pages or content designed to deceive people into revealing sensitive information such as passwords, payment details, or personal data, and do not carry out or facilitate fraud or other financial crimes.
7. Malware and Harmful Technology
Do not distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, trojans, spyware, or any other code intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to hardware, software, networks, or data.
Do not use automated tools to scrape, probe, overload, or circumvent the security or navigational structure of the Services, except where we expressly permit it.
8. Privacy and Personal Information
Do not publish other people's private or personal information without their consent, and do not use the Services to collect or store personal data unlawfully.
For rules concerning impersonation, false affiliation, or deceptive identity settings, see Site Identity.
9. Harassment, Bullying, and Defamation
Do not use the Services to harass, bully, intimidate, threaten, or defame individuals, or to conduct targeted harassment, stalking, or the public disclosure of another person's private information (doxxing) in violation of applicable law.
10. Violence and Hate Speech
Do not publish content that incites, promotes, or credibly threatens violence against individuals or groups, or that promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
11. Terrorism and Violent Extremism
Do not use the Services to promote, support, or facilitate terrorism or violent extremism, or to represent or act on behalf of organizations or individuals that engage in or promote such activities.
12. Illegal and Regulated Goods and Services
Do not use the Services to offer, sell, buy, or facilitate transactions in illegal goods or services, or in regulated goods or services without lawful authorization. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Illegal drugs and controlled substances.
- Human trafficking or forced labor.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons where prohibited, and instructions for making them.
- Products made from endangered or protected species, and other illegally obtained materials.
- Illegal gambling, online casinos, or betting where prohibited by applicable law.
- Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or goods obtained through fraud.
13. Self-Harm
Do not publish content that encourages or glorifies suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders, or that provides instructions for engaging in them. We will consider context and will not remove content that is genuinely intended to raise awareness or provide support.
14. Actions We May Take
Kanorio has the right, but not the obligation, to review content and use of the Services for compliance with these Guidelines and our Terms of Service. Where content or conduct violates them, we may, as appropriate and with or without prior notice:
- Warn the account holder.
- Restrict the visibility of, disable access to, or remove the violating content.
- Restrict, suspend, or terminate access to some or all of the Services.
- Suspend or terminate the associated account.
- Withhold or suspend related payments or payouts.
- Report the content or conduct to law enforcement or other authorities where required.
We may take these actions against content generated with AI tools in the same way as any other content. We generally base our decisions on the content made available on the platform, but where appropriate we may also consider related conduct elsewhere.
If your site is taken down or your account is restricted, you will still be able to access your dashboard and export your content. If you believe an action was taken in error, you can reach us through the support channel in your account dashboard.
15. How to Report
If you find content on Kanorio that you believe violates these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law, please report it via our report page, or contact us at support@kanorio.com. Please provide the relevant URL or hostname, a clear description of the issue, and information supporting your report. For trademark or brand-identity complaints, identify the mark or identity at issue and your relationship to it, and include supporting information such as an official website, trademark registration, or authorization details where available. We may request additional information to verify the report.
