Kanorio

Complete Guide to Module Types

About 16 min

Overview

Kanorio currently offers 38 modules, divided into 20 content modules, 2 store modules, and 16 integration modules. The module list may be updated with product releases. When building your website, please refer to the options available in the editor's "Modules" panel.

When choosing a module, consider "What should the visitor understand or do after seeing this section?" If the goal is to explain services, use Image & Text or Cards. If the goal is for visitors to submit information, use a Form integration. If the goal is direct sales, use a Store module.

How to Choose Modules

  1. Open the "Modules" panel in the editor.
  2. Select the "Content," "Store," or "Integration" category.
  3. Review the card previews and usage descriptions, then add them to your current page.
  4. Click on the module in the preview to fill in your own text, images, buttons, or third-party links.

While headers and footers are also modules, they serve as fixed top and bottom frames for your website. Add or configure them from the "Layout" panel, rather than searching in the general module list.

Content Modules

Content modules are used to introduce your brand, services, portfolio, and information. Most can be added directly from "Modules" → "Content," excluding headers and footers.

Tips for Choosing Content Modules

  • To tell a complete story: Use "Image & Text" or "Long Text Content."
  • To make information easy to scan: Use "Card Gallery," "Text Card Gallery," or "Key Metrics."
  • To build trust: Use "FAQ Accordion," "Milestones," and real project images.
  • For event pages: Use "Hero Section" with "Countdown Timer" and "FAQ Accordion."

Store Modules

Store modules are suitable for websites with products and checkout processes already set up. They not only display prices but also guide visitors through product selection and checkout.

Product Showcase

If you only want to compare service offerings without checkout, use "Plan Showcase." If you intend to sell products, ensure your online store's product and payment settings are complete.

Integration Modules

Integration modules embed public content or booking tools from other platforms into your website. They are not tracking codes; tracking codes record data in the background, while integration modules allow visitors to directly view content or interact.

Common Preparation for Integration Modules

  1. Ensure the third-party content is public and the platform allows embedding or sharing.
  2. Copy the public content URL, ID, or invitation link from the platform.
  3. Go to "Modules" → "Integration," select the platform, and paste the information as prompted.
  4. Test using the preview and your live website. Some platforms may not display fully in preview due to login status, privacy settings, or browser restrictions.

Tips

  • A homepage typically needs 4 to 7 purposeful modules; avoid overcrowding for the sake of appearance.
  • Maintain a single primary call to action per page (e.g., book, buy, contact), and ensure consistent button text.
  • Place videos, forms, and external content after relevant explanatory text, so visitors understand the reason for interaction.
  • If third-party content isn't displaying, first confirm that the post, video, or form itself is set to public.

Frequently Asked Questions

Search the module panel by purpose or platform name. If you still can't find it, try combining the closest content modules. For example, use a Card Gallery to describe services and an external link to direct visitors to other tools. Don't assume all third-party services can be embedded arbitrarily.

Modules that support AI will display an AI assistance entry point during the creation or editing process. Integration modules, headers, footers, and modules relying on external data typically require manual setup.

Integration modules allow visitors to see or use external content, such as videos, forms, and booking tools. Third-party tracking, on the other hand, records advertising or traffic data in the background, like Google Tag Manager, GA4, or Meta Pixel.

Yes, but each instance should serve a different purpose. For example, one Image & Text module might explain a service, while another explains a process. Avoid duplicating the exact same copy and images.

Please ensure you have completed product creation and payment setup within your online store and that you are editing the correct website. Store modules require available product data within the site.
