LINE Pay Payments

About 5 min

LINE Pay is a mobile payment tool where buyers typically confirm payments within the LINE App or the LINE Pay flow. It differs from "Integrated Payment Services": LINE Pay only processes its own payment methods, while Integrated Payment Services may offer credit cards, ATMs, convenience store codes, and various wallets simultaneously.

Kanorio's Current Support Status

Kanorio does not currently offer direct LINE Pay integration for payments. This means you cannot directly enter your LINE Pay Channel ID or Channel Secret within Kanorio, nor will you see a Kanorio-built LINE Pay payment page.

This page will be reserved as an operational entry point for future direct integration features. Before the feature is officially launched, please rely on this page and backend announcements. Do not attempt to fill in LINE Pay credentials into Kanorio based on third-party integration tutorials found online.

How to Offer LINE Pay Now?

If you can use PAYUNi, LINE Pay might be available as a payment option on the PAYUNi payment page:

  1. First, apply for and activate a PAYUNi payment account in Kanorio.
  2. Check your PAYUNi account to see if LINE Pay can be applied for or is already enabled.
  3. Only after PAYUNi approval will buyers see the LINE Pay option on the PAYUNi payment page.

Whether LINE Pay can be applied for, the required information, and its rates are determined by the review rules of PAYUNi and LINE Pay. Kanorio does not guarantee that this payment method is enabled for you.

How Will Future LINE Pay Direct Integration Work?

This is a planned feature that is not yet live, and the following are not currently actionable steps:

  • You will be able to apply for a LINE Pay merchant payment account and securely store the necessary merchant credentials in Kanorio.
  • Buyers will first review their order details and amount on Kanorio's checkout confirmation page before proceeding to LINE Pay to complete authorization.
  • You can retain your existing Integrated Payment Services as another payment option, but the checkout will display only one clear payment flow to avoid buyers seeing duplicate LINE Pay options.

LINE Pay direct integration is initially planned for the Taiwan market. Once the feature is live, this page will be updated with application requirements, review processes, refund rules, and actual screen demonstrations.
