Protected Deliverables & Progress

Courses and downloads protected by entitlements, with chapters and lessons, signed playback, quizzes, progress and certificates.

Available

Deliverables are the digital content customers get access to: online courses, downloadable files and members-only material. Kanorio protects the files and tracks each learner's progress across devices.

Core objects

  • Deliverables. A course or download pack, linked to the products that grant it.
  • Units. Chapters and lessons: video, audio, PDF, text, files, embeds and quizzes. A course can require lessons in sequence, and any lesson can act as a gate.
  • Progress. Where each learner stopped, which lessons are complete and when the course was finished.
  • Certificates. Generated when a learner completes a course that issues one.

How the APIs fit

  • Build and edit courses with the Management API, and read learner progress for your own reports.
  • Learners sign in, open lessons through short-lived signed URLs, report progress and take quizzes through the Customer API.
  • <kanorio-curriculum> and <kanorio-unit> provide the outline and the full lesson view.
  • Webhooks report completed lessons and courses, quiz attempts and issued certificates.

API reference

Webhook events

  • deliverables.progress.completed · Fired once when a learner first meets the deliverable's completion rule (completion snapshot; never fires again for that learner even if units are added later).
  • deliverables.progress.unit_completed · Fired when a learner completes one unit (video/audio watched to 90%, or marked complete). Use it for per-chapter automations.
  • deliverables.progress.stalled · Fired by the daily check when a learner stalls: granted access 14+ days ago and never started (not_started), or has progress but no activity for 7+ days (inactive). At most once per learner, deliverable and reason per ISO week. Use it for reminder automations.
  • deliverables.quiz.attempted · Fired for every graded quiz attempt (score 0–100, passed, attemptNo). A passed attempt also completes the unit.
  • deliverables.certificate.issued · Fired when a completion certificate is issued (serial); the PDF is fetched through the Customer API.
