Weebly has officially announced the termination of its services in Taiwan. According to the official account notification, websites for users in Taiwan will be taken down on September 27, 2026. Accounts will remain accessible until December 26, 2026, during which time you can still log in to migrate your website, domain, and data to other services. This is no longer a matter of waiting or speculating—the most important task now is to seize this buffer period to fully migrate your years of accumulated website content, SEO rankings, and brand assets to a new platform.
Planning your transition now is critical, and choosing a platform that is easy to use and requires minimal effort is key. This article explains what you should do following Weebly's exit from Taiwan, covers the preparation and full migration steps, and highlights Kanorio—the best AI website builder for migrating from Weebly in 2026.
Once you decide to move, we recommend following these steps to minimize the risk of data loss and traffic disruption:
There are many website builders available, each suited for different scenarios: Shopify is professional for full e-commerce needs; WordPress offers maximum freedom if you value flexibility and plugin ecosystems, but requires significant time for learning and maintenance. If your goal is to quickly own a professional brand website with built-in SEO without handling layout and technical details yourself, Kanorio is the solution—and the platform we will focus on next.
Kanorio is an AI-powered brand website builder designed to help people with no design or technical skills launch a professional, SEO-optimized brand website in record time. Its core logic is completely different from Weebly: while Weebly gives you a pile of components to drag and drop, Kanorio asks you to provide brand information through a four-step process, and the AI generates the content and pages for you. You only need to fine-tune the text and swap images to go live. Most brands can go from zero to live in under 15 minutes.
For users migrating from Weebly, this process is particularly efficient because your existing brand text and images can be imported directly into Kanorio, saving you from having to design a layout from scratch.

Weebly is not shutting down globally; however, according to official notifications, Weebly services in Taiwan are ending. Websites will remain active for 90 days and be taken down on September 27, 2026. User accounts will remain accessible until December 26, 2026, allowing time for migration. In other words, Taiwan users should treat this as a clear signal to migrate and start planning their alternative solution now.
It is possible if not handled correctly. The key is to set up 301 redirects properly and preserve your original page structure and content as much as possible. Planning ahead and testing in stages can significantly reduce the risk of losing rankings.
Migrating now, while your data can still be fully exported, is much more cost-effective than being forced to move after the service stops. With Kanorio's 4-step builder, your existing brand content can be imported directly, so you don't have to start from scratch.
Not at all. Kanorio is designed to lower the barrier to entry. Through a guided process, most users can complete a publishable website in 15 minutes without any design or technical background.
Kanorio offers a free plan to get started, with no credit card required. If you need more advanced features, you can upgrade to a paid plan as your needs grow.
Instead of waiting until the last minute, use this time while your data is still available to plan your transition. Let AI reorganize your brand content and focus your time on what truly matters: growing your brand.
