[Feature Update] Digital Products Now Supported in Online Store | Online Courses, Video Materials, and Payment Integration

Kanorio Marketing Team · Published Sep 17, 2026

Digital product sales interface in Online Store Stores in Taiwan can connect local payment providers; stores in other regions can accept payments through Stripe.

When you start preparing content like online courses, creative notes, or video materials, you likely want to start selling them immediately. However, for most creators and instructors, the technical barrier of setting up payment gateways is significant. Researching providers, understanding API documentation, configuring invoice systems, and maintaining multiple platforms takes a lot of time and energy. Many end up sticking to manual bank transfers and reconciliation, which becomes unmanageable as volume grows.

Good news: you can skip the hassle. Kanorio’s Online Store now supports direct sales of digital products. Whether it is an online course, creative notes, or content in video, photo, or audio formats, you can list them for sale without needing a separate platform or custom development.

Payment integration settings dashboard

For payments, we have integrated major payment services in Taiwan. You can apply for integration directly from the dashboard, allowing customers to pay using methods they are familiar with. The setup is simple: just go to the Online Store settings in your dashboard to see supported providers and follow their requirements to provide the necessary information. For reference, here is a comparison of current payment processing fees:

Payment MethodCredit Card Transaction Fee
PAYUNi2.2%
SHOPLINE Payments2.2%
LINE Pay2.2%
JKOPAY (Individual)2.5%
JKOPAY (Business)2.2%

For invoicing, you can integrate with Amego, ECPay, or ezPay. Processes like issuing, voiding, and uploading to the Ministry of Finance are handled automatically by the service provider. The checkout process is embedded, meaning buyers do not need to leave your site. Guest checkout is also supported—buyers can claim their content using the same email address after payment.

All the complex research and setup processes are now handled within a single dashboard!

Calculating the cost of selling digital products is straightforward: each order only incurs a "payment processing fee" and a platform fee based on the transaction amount. The platform fee can be adjusted as your business scales. Most importantly, you can start for free, so there are no extra costs before you make your first sale. Kanorio’s plan commissions are as follows:

PlanPlatform Fee
Free9.0%
Pro3.0%
Business0%

Many users choose to start with the Free plan to sell their first digital product, then upgrade their plan to lower platform fees once their income stabilizes. For a full plan comparison, please refer to our pricing page.

Sales dashboard analytics

When selling products, the data behind the scenes is crucial. Kanorio’s sales dashboard is more comprehensive than you might imagine: beyond daily sales, order counts, pending/disputed orders, net sales, average order value, and refund rates, it also provides conversion funnels (Site Visit → Browse Product → Checkout → Purchase) and customer structure (New vs. Returning) analysis. You can identify exactly where you are losing customers without needing to piece together external reporting tools. Additionally, five types of promotions are built-in (product discounts, discount codes, volume discounts, flash sales, and threshold discounts), so you don't need extra plugins to boost conversions.

This is especially worth trying for creators and online course instructors. You don't need a complex e-commerce system from day one; start small by selling a single course or a set of notes. Let the platform handle the technical barriers like payments and invoicing, and focus your energy on the content itself.

From setup to receiving your first payment, here is what you need to do:

  1. Decide on the type of digital content (online courses, notes, video materials) and your pricing strategy (fixed price or open-ended, such as accepting donations).
  2. Go to "Store → Payments" in your dashboard to apply for at least one payment service, such as PAYUNi or SHOPLINE Payments, and complete the application and verification process as prompted.
  3. If you need to issue invoices, connect your account with Amego, ECPay, or ezPay in the settings.
  4. Create the product: fill in the name, description, cover image, and upload the content to be delivered to the buyer after payment (PDF, audio, or video).
  5. Run a full purchase process using an incognito browser to confirm that payment processing, invoice issuance, and content delivery are working correctly before making the product public.

Payment services like PAYUNi and SHOPLINE Payments handle their own verification; Kanorio is not involved. If you are not approved, you need to contact the provider directly to confirm the reason and provide additional documentation. Since verification standards and requirements vary by provider, we recommend checking the payment method instructions in our Help Center: Online Store before applying.

No. After the buyer pays, the funds are deposited directly into your bank account by the payment provider after deducting their transaction fees. Kanorio does not handle or hold these funds.
