Site Switching and Multi-Site Data

Last updated 49 days ago

What are you looking for?

If you manage multiple websites in Kanorio (e.g., for different brands or client projects), you can switch the currently active site within the backend. After switching, your dashboard, analytics, site settings, and editor will display the content and data of that specific website.

How to Switch Sites

  1. Locate the Site Switcher in the backend interface (it displays the current site's name, usually in the top bar or main menu area).
  2. Click to open the list and select the site you wish to manage; you can also type keywords to search for a site name.
  3. Once selected, the system will remember your choice. The next time you log in, it will prioritize displaying that site (provided you still have access permissions).

Kanorio's backend uses fixed paths (e.g., /dashboard, /editor); the website ID is not included in the URL. Which site's data is displayed on your screen is determined by your selected "Current Site".

How the Screen Updates After Switching

  • Dashboard and Analytics: Displays the summary and metrics for the current site.
  • Site Settings and Billing: Shows the plan, domain, and options relevant to the current site.
  • Editor: Loads the pages and modules for that site. If there are unsynced changes, you might see a "Not Synced" notification or a small red dot at the top (depending on the device template).

If you've just created a site or don't have access to any sites yet, the system might guide you through the site creation process.

Teams and Permissions

If you've been invited to join a website as a team member, that site will only appear in the switcher list after you've accepted the invitation. If you believe you should see a site that isn't listed, please contact the site owner to confirm if you've been invited and assigned a role. See Team and Permissions Management for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend waiting a moment or refreshing the page. In most cases, the system automatically updates the screen after switching. If you use the browser's back button or switch tabs, you might occasionally need to refresh manually.

The editor reloads content based on the selected site. If the screen still appears abnormal, try closing the editor tab and re-entering the editor from the dashboard, or report the issue via Contact Us.

Yes. Each device will remember the last site you selected independently. If you want both devices to focus on the same site, simply select that site in the switcher on each device.
