Connecting a Domain

What are you looking for?
Connecting a domain allows visitors to access your site through a URL you choose.
A domain is the recognizable name for your URL (e.g., yourbrand.com), while DNS (Domain Name System) translates that URL into a server address.
- Kanorio Subdomain: The free plan includes a xxx.kanorio.com subdomain, so you don't need to purchase a domain.
- Custom Domain: After subscribing to Kanorio Pro, you can connect your own domain. Kanorio will automatically configure an SSL certificate (HTTPS encryption) for it.
- DNS Settings: You'll need to add a CNAME or A record with your domain provider, pointing to the address Kanorio provides.
This section covers the publishing process, the differences between subdomains and custom domains, DNS checks and propagation times, recommendations for purchasing domains, and setup guides for various providers. Please select an article from the left-hand menu to learn more about each topic.
