Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) significantly enhances your account security. During login, you'll be prompted to enter an additional verification code, a TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password). Even if your login link is intercepted, others won't be able to access your account. Be sure to save your backup codes after enabling 2FA, in case you're unable to use your authenticator app.
Enabling Steps
- Go to "Settings → Security"
- Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
- Scan the QR code with a TOTP-compatible app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy)
- Enter the verification code displayed in the app to complete setup
Supported Authenticator Apps
We recommend using TOTP-compatible apps such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator. Ensure the app is installed and functioning correctly before proceeding with the scan.
Important Notes for Enabling 2FA
- After enabling, you will be required to enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app every time you log in.
- Keep your authenticator app and backup codes safe. Before switching phones, make sure to migrate or record your backup codes.
