The catalog holds what a site sells. A product carries its own publish state, URL slug and SEO fields, so it does not need a separate page to be visible.

## Core objects

- **Products.** Digital or physical, with descriptions, media and the deliverables a purchase unlocks.
- **Variants.** Pricing tiers or options of a product, each with its own price and stock.
- **Categories.** Groupings for navigation and filtering.

## How the APIs fit

- Create, update and publish products with the Management API.
- Read published products and categories for your storefront with the Content Delivery API's `/products` endpoints.
